Hello. I need to compare estimated LST (land surface temperature) of summer time of the years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015 (each year one image only). my case study is an urban district. for this purpose i have decided to download images from Landsat 8, 7 and 5.
my question:
can i compare LST of different Landsat sensors with each other? should i use any special algorithm?

You can use the same algorithm to compute LST, but, without doubt, you have to use radiometric correction which is different for different sensors.

You have to correct for different parameters to standardize the values, but then you can use the standardized images and compare them
