These compounds were determined in GCMS analysis of n-hexane extract of alligator weed and i have to classify these compounds like alkaloids, monoterpenes etc....

I suggest you enter the names of your compounds in websites like chemspider or chempub, that will generate the structure. And, according to their structure it will be easier to classify them. Even the data that comes there can help you classify them the way you want.

Then, you could assign the type of compounds you have according to their chemical structure (which you can find in pubchem). It is relatively simple, each classification has a particular structure (phenols, monoterpenes, alkaloids, etc.) which you can compare with the structures of your GCMS analysis.
