I want to make a misorientation distribution map and caculate the fraction of HLGB. Three types of misorientation data can be exported from the channel 5.0 software: corrected, uncorrected and the grain boundary misotrientation. The distribution maps made with these three types of data are quite different. So which data should I choose?
Hi Ju Xiaofei, do you mean correlated, uncorrelated? When it compares the distribution of rotations between adjacent grains, it is called correlated. And when the data has the distribution of misorientation angles between random pairs of grains in the dataset, it is called uncorrelated. I guess, you can now figure out which one you need..

Hi, you should really correct your question in case Soud was right and you don't talk about correct and uncorrect misorientation instead of correlated and uncorellated. What uncorrect or incorrect misorientation would mean?
