How to choose control in MTT assay calculation?

Dear researchers,

I have question about MTT control? I applied ultrasound to cells with photosensitive agent and microbubbles. To MTT test, which do i should take for control? Will it cells without ultrasound, microbubbles and agent group or cells with ultrasound, microbubbles and agent group?

Could you help me about that?

You should compare the combined effect by comparing with untreated control. To assess whether the effect is additive or synergetic, you should also test the cytotoxicity (MTT) of individual agent separately under identical conditions by comparing with untreated control.
