Hello, Please, I want to know if I can change the contribution level to display Contours maps. In my example: From QSAR 2D I concluded that the hydrophobicity is favorable to increase the activity which is confirmed by Docking and 3D-QSAR (hydrophobic fields selected to build the model). The problem is that when I present the hydrophobic contours with the following contributions: 80% favorable and 20% unfavorable in this case, large unfavorable contours are displayed on the hydrophobic radicals, which is in contradiction with my data (the molecules the most active have hydrophobic groups, confirmed by docking and 2D-QSAR). but on the contrary, when I modify the level of contribution (20% favorable and 80% unfavorable), I find exactly the opposite, large favorable contours surround the hydrophobic groups, which is in agreement with the docking and 2D-QSAR results. Question: - How to choose contribution levels? - Is it valid to choose 20% favorable and 80% unfavorable? Are there any references?
Thanks.
