Through XRD pattern,, how to measure the crytallinity of graphene and graphene oxide
In general,percent crystallinity as obtained by XRD measurements is defined as the ratio of integrated peak areas of crystalline phase to the sum of the integrated peak areas of both crystalline and amorphous phases.
Main assumptions of measurement of crystallinity by XRD that the broad peaks are relate with amorphous phase while the sharp peaks are belong to crystallite phase. Small size of crystalline causes the sharp peaks becomes more broad. You can adopt XRD data to calculate crystallinity by the broad and the sharp peaks via comparison of the integrated peak areas in the 2θ range using selected peaks from the X-ray diffraction patterns of sample.
Calculating areas for crystalline and amorphous phases by software is necessary to avoid error accompanied with manually calculation. With a software, you can obtain crystalline percentage as FHWM.

You can check by XRD the cristallinity of graphene or graphene oxide based nanocomposites, but not of graphene or graphene oxide nanomaterial.

If you want to examine the crystallinity of matrix, you have to use DSC test.
It means that you can investigate the effect of graphene on the crystallinity of polymer.
