An exciton is a bound state of an electron and hole which are attracted to each other by the electrostatic Coulomb force and with this it is electrically neutral quasiparticle that exists in insulators, semiconductors etc.
There are following questions on excitons that are in my mind that
- How to check "excitons effect"?
- Is it exist also in 1D and even in 0D (those who are semiconducter) ?
