I don't like the pattern style which appears after refinement. I want to change it permanently but whenever I make changes, these are only temporary. Could you please guide me how to change it permanently?
After adjusting the pattern style use 'File-Save settings' in WinPlotr. It will create winplotr.set file with your current parameters (not only drawing style, so be careful and check what you save). Also, you can create .set files manually (they are plain text) and load any of them with 'File-Load a setting sile'.
In WinPlotr-2006 simply use 'Options-Preferences' and press 'Save global preferences'.
Thanks for the answer. However, when I press the "save setting" button, it says, "no such file or directory" and it terminates the program. And I don't know how to create .set file. Could you please help me with that?
Probably, you installed FullProf in the non-standard location (it expects C:\FullProf_Suite). I attach here the file created from the freshly installed FullProf with only one change: markers of the 1st pattern are set to be filled circles with 0.5 size. You can find the corresponding line under '[PATTERNS PLOT OPTIONS]'. Description of the possible parameters are given in the .\Docs\WINPLOTR.pdf (pages 6-7). I found one misprint there, numbering of the line types starts from 0, not from 1.
Thanks a lot. It wasn't working by any way, even with your .set file. So I uninstalled it and installed again and now it works perfectly. But still, I learned by your suggestions how to change the setting. Thanks a lot for that.
