Option 1: Edit Your Affiliation from Your Profile

1. Go to your ResearchGate profile (log in to https://www.researchgate.net).

2. Click on your name/profile icon in the top-right corner.

3. Select “Edit profile”.

4. Under “Experience” or “Affiliation”, you’ll see your listed institutions.

5. Click the pencil/edit icon next to the merged or incorrect affiliation.

6. Try to separate the two by editing:

For PhD: N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research

For Work: Jamnabai Narsee School (as HR Manager)

7. If they are incorrectly shown as one organization, remove the incorrect one and add each separately.

Option 2: Add a Second Affiliation

If you can't separate the merged entry, you can:

1. Go to “Edit Profile”.

2. Scroll down to “Add experience”.

3. Add:

Position: PhD Research Scholar Institution: N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research

Select proper dates

4. Again click “Add experience”, and add:

Position: HR Manager Institution: Jamnabai Narsee School

# If You Still Can't Edit:

Sometimes ResearchGate auto-merges institutions or limits edits. In that case:

📩 Contact ResearchGate Support:

1. Go to: https://www.researchgate.net/contact

2. Choose Profile > Edit my institution or affiliation.

3. Explain clearly:

You are pursuing a PhD from N. L. Dalmia Institute.

You work at Jamnabai Narsee School as an HR Manager.

They are different, but have been merged wrongly.

4. Ask them to manually separate the institutions or allow you to edit them individually.
