Hi everyone, I want to design a transmitting coil and a receiving coil of using two identical square-shaped printed spiral coil to make a wireless power transfer system. Please try to help by giving answer how can I theoretically calculate the parameters.
you can calculate the flux linkage between the two coils, then by the formula of mutual inductance compute the induce current, and obtain the power transfer factor. the flux linkage can be calculate by general integral method.

You can also use FEA software such as Comsol , ansys maxwell or Jmag. You should design your model in these kind of software, then it is sth easy to calculate inductance , resistance , etc.
