I am looking for the calculation of Incoming longwave radiation for the energy balance model of glacier. I need to estimate the incoming solar radiation at the top of atmosphere to estimate the atmospheric transmissivity, but no idea on it. I want to calculate the emissivity to calculate the incoming long wave radiation using air temperature measured at 2 m from the surface and stefan Boltz Mann constant. As far as i know, we need cloud cover data to calculate the sky emissivity, which I don't have. Therefore, I have to look for alternative techniques so that I can estimate the Incoming Long Wave Radiation.
