Hi all, I plan to identify barriers and drivers to screening uptake among women in a community.

Socially (and maybe geographically), the community is divided in 5 areas. I was thinking maybe I could consider these areas as strata and do a stratified sampling. But my question is, how do I know how many participants to select in each area/strata? Basically, I plan to conduct the survey assessing the possible factors that could either drive or prevent the women to go for screening; and then I would conduct a multivariable analysis to see which variable are more or less likely predictors of screening uptake. How do you think I could get an appropriate sample in each area? Thank you for your thoughts on this.
