For my research I have to find the radius of eye pupil time to time. I have to take the data from mobile front camera. And in some situation head can shake and eye lid can be close and open. So I need some efficient techniques or algorithms regarding this problems

Or perform blob-detection manually in something like Matlab, using the image processing toolbox.

Just add the ruler or another similar measure into your pictures than you can easily measure the size of 1 mm in pixels in measure, then with pohotoshop or any other image editing software such as Image J, measure the number of pixels in your pupil diameter and then you can easily calculate the number of mm by dividing number of pixels in pupil by number of pixels in 1 mm measure. This will still work in spite the different distance and therefore different sizes when you take a pictures. This is the reason why measure is always present in forensic photographs as it serves the same purpose.
