How to calculate mean and SD from Least Square Means and 95% CI?

I conduct a network meta analysis. I want to know how to how to calculate mean and SD from Least Square Means and 95% CI? for example, least square means (1.16) and 95% ( 0.3, 2.0)

Hi,

Regarding your question, I would suggest you to follow the instructions in the Cochrane handbook :

Standard deviation can be obtained by turning CI by implementing the formula:

SD= √Nx ( CI threshold upper limit – Lowe border CI)/3.92
