I am taking equal amount of octanol and water and adding sufficient quantity of drug in the mixture. But log p is coming 3.66 whereas reported value is 1.52
Please check your buffer (should have pH 7.4) next check your quercetin purity. Aglycons are usually more lipophilic than conjugates. It was reported that quercetin and other flavonoids can give very variable results of LogP. Please check values of LogKw (by RP-HPLC) presented in poster below. I think its close to your observation.
