I am working on a helically coiled heat exchanger. I calculated the overall heat transfer coefficient based on several correlations and checked my results with commercial domestic hot water cylinders. unfortunately, there is a big difference between my results and those are used in famous manufacturers. Can anybody help me to get correct results?

I had a similar problem for calculating the Nu number of nano-fluid, flowing through a helical coil. There was a huge difference between experimental and analytical results. But mentioned difference was less, when I substituted d/D instead of L in the heat flux formula.
q''=q/A , where:
q'' : heat flux
q: heat transfer
A: total surface area of heat exchanger (A=3.14 * D * L)
d: pipe diameter
D: coil diameter
L: total pipe length of heat exchanger
It is recommended that read the attachment papers.
