How to calculate Aerosol Optical Thickness for atmospheric PM10 and surface ozone using MODIS Atmosphere Corrected satellite imagery?

Dear all. I am currently working on a study on Environmental Burden of Disease contributed by PM10 and surface ozone. The method for determining PM10 and ozone level is through satellite imaging data using ENVI and Imagine ERDAS. For that purpose I need to know the Reflectance calculation(s) and Band math(s) for PM10 and surface ozone. If there are steps of processing the image using ENVI, Imagine ERDAS and ArcGIS would be much appreciated. Thank you
