^the above paper outlines a testing rig for applying pressure to coin cells for solid state cells, we are trying to achieve something similar for Li3PS4 Solid Electrolyte systems. Does anyone have experience in how to build a rig such as this one? The components required? and If anyone has ideas on how to control the stack pressure with some level of precision this would be useful as well.
Two plates bolted together with springs under each bolt around the perimeter. Trust bearings and washers can be used to have more consistent bolt torque vs spring force. Calibrate with a load cell in place of the cell.
Thanks for the reply, this sounds like a great system have you tried to test some of your sample cells in such a rig? if so have you been able to get consistent data over time?
