It is my pleasure to respond to an important social and academic issue regarding the number of qualified women in senior positions in all aspects of society.
Given similar educational and employment opportunities, women are able to demonstrate their capability in senior academic, administrative, social and political appointments.
When the percentage of women in a field, discipline or activity is too low, strong encouragement and mentoring will probably be needed to redress the imbalance.
Determination and continuous effort can half of society at par to the other half members. Educational and job opportunities are available along with reservation in some countries like India for the women. Only out of the box thinking is required and it can be inculcated by senior family members of all community.
