Do you have any specific schedule when is the best time to write a publication, an article for a journal or an academic book? When is the best productive time for it?

Put a skeleton (title,headings,sub headings, arranging figures and tables) for the journal article or book initially. Keep the relevant referencing material ready and read it thoroughly. Write regularly at least a single paragraph every day. This is the method which I follow. Sometimes, it takes hundreds of hours of patient work to complete an article. It is impossible to write an article at one go.
When you are writing you are actually doing couple of thing simultaneously.
1.you learn new things and accumulate information as literature review
2. Put the paper context systematically
3 Phrasing the words and sentences to create maximum impact
4. Continuous review to improve and improve before finalizing
I feel you can read and summarize in the afternoon when you are not at 100% level of energy
Write in the morning when your energy level is high
Review in the evening when you feel good after having rest for sometime
That routine I follow, may be it will work for you.
