I'm looking for models, rules-of-thumb, etc. in assigning value to start-ups that lack a clear revenue model. Start-ups seeking funding from Angels, VC's, or corporates need a basis for establishing their current and future value. "Comps" is the usual answer I get, but it would be useful to know how to convert one comp to another situation. Any thoughts or suggestions?
