I just want to assess the level of farmers preparedness towards extreme climatic situations like Drought and flood. whether they are prepared for these extreme events, if so what are the actions in hand to face it.
Most of the studies concentrated on awareness, knowledge and perception of farmers towards climate change and none on farmers preparedness.
Any related material or suggestion on how to assess the farmers preparedness level is much obliged.

you probably need to design your own instrument to such measurements. it could be nice to see what is necessary to face, cope and/or prevent every of such events and see if the farers already have it or are prepared to do it.

Climate Change is a natural process affecting the entire planet and going in for millions of years, with local weather conditions affecting different parts of the world. Man has no control over Climate change. Yes, depending upon local prediction of weather conditions one could take some preventive measures.
