Another aspect is, how can we get the attention of experts?

Some time a good researcher who is new to a certain field might ask a basic question, in that case, how to get the attention of experts. If we stick to basics, amateurs and non experts would also answers (it is better that they answer than not answering). In case we go for too much specific with more technical information, our audience will be reduced. Then no one will answer at the beginning. Then even experts will not get their attention at all. At the end we will not get the thing we need.

However, I have seen some researchers with high RG score doing really good works and answering the questions really productive manner.

Regarding Citations: Recently I have notice that there are some journals where certain groups publish papers and that group cite each other in different journals. At the end journal impact factor goes up and researchers get citations. It is bit similar to what happens in RG score. (but I understand, it is not that direct and easy as RG score, so we can have better true on citations than RG score).

RG score is not a fake and its buildup with a model based on different kind of variables such as number of views, recommendations, citations, articles, questions, answers and impact of journals. My opinion is do not be bothered with the RG score. We cant guess the level of expertise with the RG score. Its depend with the answer what they have mentioned which is most relevant to your question.

Yes that's true some members seek score than the quality and we cant change the quality of personals but we can choose the quality of work.

Other thing is RG not like google scholar and its more socialized. Therefore, members can share any thing related to their studies or just for the interest and some times it may be a social survey.

There is no good or bad question. whenever someone is confused in his/her research area, s/he float question on RG. Some young researchers are in hurry to improve RG-score. For this they usually ask common question. different people respond in different manner. In this way there is a good discussion. Such questions are also called popular question. This question can also be called as "popular question" or "common question".

You can not call it as "free publicity", it is free sharing of knowledge. (The researchers shall not just get free contents and cite: that part is researcher responsibility).

I worked as a student ambassador for a major publisher for three years, I can see some disadvantages of just using RG or google for publication search. However, it is still useful for the development of science (if the scientist knows how to use it productively).

I have seen this is many places in RG. So I worry about asking questions sometime, because we can not rust (even the answer has many reccomendations).

C. Lewis Kausel , yes I agree with you. However, how can we get a good answer (address a good audience and get attention off them)? If we fail to get the attention of capable crowd, we may not get useful answer. So there is some difficulty for the person who is asking question to shapeup the question.

If we make it too descriptive, it may not get attention of common audience. then the quesdotn will be hidden. if we make it open, then there will be more responses, but then difficult to refine the valuable answers (Since RG recommendations are not that much ...)

I'm not happy that they haven't changed the RG scores in years...or at least not mine, why do they keep the RG scores so prominent, when they don't update them or use them anymore.....

In my opinion, asking well-methodologically formulated questions on scientific issues is one of the most important issues in science. for example, in educational processes, teachers teach their students to correctly formulate questions for specific scientific issues. There are a lot of interesting, well-worded questions on the Research Gate discussion forum. A well-worded question should be understood by many recipients, it should be clearly worded in its content, it should concern interesting issues of specific topics functioning in specific fields and scientific disciplines. Interesting questions about specific fields of science include those that relate to current problems, development issues, future issues, discussion issues and within which specific scientific research is already being carried out or most likely research will be conducted in a given issue.
