It is possible to apply a monotonic load to a URM wall in 3DEC code but I am wondering is it possible to apply a cyclic load there like FEM softwares?
It is possible to apply a monotonic load to a masonry model easily but I am wondering how to apply a cyclic one and how would be the cyclic behavior of a discrete masonry wall model?
Dear Dr. Zamani
hello
you can apply cyclic loading or velocity time history with table command
and history command at the base or other position of structure .
at the first , you should make a file with your data for example cyclic loading or other type of loading and then introduce that file to input file.
good luck
Thank you Amirhossein Mehrbod
