Hi, everyone, I’m utilizing the FTIR to analysis microplastics. However, I cannot find the C-C bond peak or C-H bond peak in the result(black one). The result was shown in the below. As you can see, only two peaks were detected which are –OH stretching and C=C stretching. Hence, I wonder that if the aqueous will affect the FT-IR result.

On the other hand, some bonds have the same absorption wavenumber such as OH stretching (3550-3200 cm-1) and NH stretching(3400-3300cm-1). As for that, when the OH bond and NH bond exist at the same time, will the OH bond peak cover the NH bond peak.
