Dear Researchers,
I am trying to add trends analysis in the shape file and I want to represent these trends with different notations (arrows etc.). Can anybody help me how I do this? I have added two pics for example.
I have to do this task in GIS or in paint or other softwares.
Pease let me know.

This is a very easy task and shall be done using ArcGIS. please follow these steps:
1- prepare an excel file having the following columns and data
lat lon station name trend results trend direction
XX XX Cairo, EG 0.12 positive
xxx xx Alex, EG -0.15 negative
and so on.
2- save this file as .csv or .xls
3- open new file in arcgis ---> click "add data" from the toolbars --> select the .csv file.
4- the file will be on the "table of content" window under layers.
5- right click the file and select "display x,y, ,,,". in the new window select lat for y and lon for x.
6- this will make a new layer. it is better to save this layer as a shape file before the next steps.
7- right click new layer --> data --> export data--> select location --> ok --> ok to add the new file (name it M layer).
8- right click the new layer (M layer) --> proprietaries --> symbology --> category --> unique value --> select the trend direction.
9- then from the beneath window select the symbol (triangle) and color for the positive and negative. note to make the triangle down change the angle. ---> then apply
10- from the layer proprieties window select label then select the trend results, and mark check for show label then click ok.

First of all many many thanks, I was stucked since last three days.
I have done the 8 steps, but 9th and 10th step is not successfully performed.
For more discussion of 9th step, attached a screen shot.
After doing step 8, click add all values then select each one to change the symbol by clicking on it.
