If you want to control for certain variables, you can just add them to the program in the desired section:

- If you want to control for both actor and partner effects of a certain variable, you can add it as a second independent variable.

- If you only want to control for the actor effects of a certain variable, you can add it as a within covariate.

- If you have a single score for both dyad members (e.g., years of marriage) and you want to control for it, you can add it as a between covariate.
