I have a protocol which uses different rotors than the ones I have in my lab so I need to know how tu adjust de g's or rpm to the ones I have available.
I need rotor 50.2 Ti at 50.000rpm and 302.000g, 12 tubes of 39ml --> instead I have: rotor type 70 ti (70.000rpm, 504.000g and 8x39ml)
The adaption is done via the pelleting efficiency k of the rotor in the protocol and that which you want to use, k = (ln(rmax/rmin) * 253303) / (rpm/1000)^2. Then k1/t1 = k2/t2. In doi:10.1007/978-1-4419-7251-4_25 I have described the theory of centrifugation.

The rcf is not the relevant parameter here, because you also need to take into acount rotor geometry. For example, longer tubes require longer centrifugation time. That is why people have come up with vertical tube rotors, where the centrifugation distance is the tube radius, rather than its length.
As I said before, use the pelleting efficiency k for protocol adaption to different rotors.
