I am working on flow control in wind turbine blade .As a preliminary step, I have to design a blade as per design conventions and analyse computationally with ANSYS CFX and validate with the wind tunnel experiment.
My query is the length of blade is 13m and the velocity is 10m/s and its easy to model and computationally analyze the blade.When coming to experimental phase, the wind tunnel test section size is 0.6*0.6*0.3 which means the blade height can be up to 0.5m considering the blockage ratio. If I am scaling down the length of blade from 13m to 0.5m, mathematically my velocity should compensate to match the Reynolds number ( ρ1* V1 * d1 = ρ2*V2*d2) the final velocity is raiding to 260m/s which is impossible in a wind tunnel experiment..Kindly suggest me the method of achieving flow similarity and validating my result
