Has anyone performed ChIP-seq for H3K4me3 or H3K27ac or other histone PTMs in your cell line? You may be able to find such data in the resources Saurabh mentioned, and also search on the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) for deposited datasets. H3K4me3 and H3K27ac mark promoters of actively expressed genes. Looking at the ChIP-seq tracks can hopefully reveal domains of H3K4me3 or H3K27ac upstream of your gene of interest that span the promoter sequence.
You can try to search for H3K4me3 experiments conducted in your cell type in https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/ and https://www.encodeproject.org/. GEO is a repository for genomics data for publications. So you should be able to trace the raw or processed data back to the article for more details on the experiments.
