I submitted an article into a journal through its submission system ten months ago and it is on the review process now. I tried to ask for the information to the editor through the system and email. Unfortunately, I have not received any response. Last month, I sent message to the publisher submission person in charge and he/she then attached a confirmation of the journal's assistant editor that the paper has been in review process because two of the three suggested reviewers have not accepted to review. The assistant editor confirmed that the necessary actions have been taken from the editor side.

If I want to submit the paper to another journal, by considering the submission ethics, my question is how to abandon the review process a submitted article from the journal?
