Please forgive me for without any introduction, I will try to make it short.

I am understand that nanoclays can be classified as T:O (tetrahedral: octahedral ) or T:OT layer stacking .

I also know there are interlayers with none/water/ hydrated or non - hydrated exchangeable cations. Besides, It also can be grouping as nano fibrous or nano-tube or nano plate/disc structures.

However, which type of grouping is affecting the composite's mechanical properties the most?

What i found is like MMT has higher hydroxyl groups than halloysite nanoclay, hence forms better interaction with polymer.

On the other hand, i also found that MMT which in disc structure has better area to interact with polymers.

So i am confused, so if i wish to explain the types of nanoclays on the composite strength.

I need to look on structure or type of elements between interlayer or layer charges

thank you for everyone effects, highly appreciates it.

and sorry for my broken English sentences.
