how the dose rate was experimentally determined, and how this dose rate can be applied to a system such as Cr2O3. ?
a give this answer but it was reject by the reviewers, What is the right answer ?
The thickness of the films was measured using ellipsometry and found to be ̴ 200 nm. The thin films irradiated by gamma rays were used cobalt (60Co) as source. A dose rate of 5 Gy/min, doses levels of 0, 50, 100 and 200 Gy for irradiation time of 0, 10, 20 and 40 min respectively, was used for irradiating the samples at room temperature. The irradiations were performed in air. Dose rate can be calculated by employing the following relation [21],
Dose Rate = Dose / Time ................................(1)
