Obviously, we cannot look down on technology. But, what we can object to is the inefficient use of it. I especially refer to the "speed" of technology coupled with the human greed that technology might produce due to the simpler, more efficient, and and less cost factors that technology offers those who are in control of it.

Total agreement. On the one hand great progress with 'high' speed but on the other - great loss. Loss of what? Loss of tradition, feeling real presence of other people including them with whom we cooperate scientifically and as result we succeed. Is it possible to change it? I doubt ... We must pay a high price for progress but whether we as humanity are prepared to give up the benefits of progress ??

The problem begins when we believe that technological progress by itself is magic and that everything can be achieved. This is not so. Everything technological, needs a pedagogical intention. We must also recognize that by including technologies in teaching, significant learning is not automatically achieved. It is necessary to be pedagogically aware so that the didactics are correct and so that the students have great learning experiences.
