Numerous methods for deriving temperature from an ionospheric parameter have already been presented. The approaches establish a relationship between temperature and I collision frequency, (ii) recombination coefficient, (iii) ionospheric scale height, (iv) diurnal and nocturnal fluctuations in electron concentration, and (v) seasonal or latitudinal variations in the solar zenith angle. Unfortunately, some of the proposed relationships rest upon rather tenuous foundations, while others require extensive modification before correct results can be expected when they are used. It is obvious that new and greatly improved relationships between temperature and an ionospheric parameter must have been formulated before reliable information may be regularly obtained from ionospheric data. Which parameter is most critical if I'm conducting research? Kindly suggest a relevant study article.
