Hi all,

When it comes to water,

It is widely known that material with higher surface energy, have more hydrophilic (low contact angle)

But if it is a non-polar solvent?

I know that surface energy is contributed by polar part and dispersion part,

If the surface of material has more polar chemical bond, resulting in higher surface energy,

Will it's contact angle with non-polar solvents decrease as well?

Thank you a lot,

Best regards.
