Dear all, I need help in setting up the dynamicMeshDict for pimpleDyMFoam using sixDoF. Actually I have 2 concentric cylinders (2d) representing a shaft and a hole (journal bearing). On the external cylinder surface a tangential U is applied. On the internal cylinder the forces should be computed by the sixDof and the movingWallVelocity applied. My problem is that when the internal cylinder moves, only the external raw of mesh elements (the mesh is made with blockMesh) change size and shape. The other cells do not change shape and move together with the internal cylinder. How should I set the sixDoFRigidBodyMotionCoeffs (innerDistance and outerDistance) in the dynamicMeshDict in order to have a deformation of the whole mesh?

Franco
