Cleaning the ASRS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval System) used for managing packing material stock has become a pressing concern. This multi-level system, reaching a height of 80 feet with 7 levels (A-G), handles daily stock movements with the help of Movers. However, dust accumulation and spider webs are constantly disrupting the sensors on the Movers, causing operational issues.

The challenge is exacerbated by the attraction of insects, leading to the presence of dangerous reptiles like scorpions and snakes around the ASRS. This poses a significant safety risk for workers, especially during breakdowns or maintenance activities. A comprehensive and systematic cleaning and pest control plan is essential to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the ASRS.

In this ASRS, levels B through F lack a base to walk on inside the bins. Due to the low weight capacity, base rods or any form of base were not installed during the initial setup. It was advised that adding a base would compromise the structural integrity of the ASRS, making it unable to withstand the additional load.
