How periodic schiff reagent is used to check the glycosylated proteins?

i am going to perform a glycosylation assay on my protein. do i need to run my protein on native gel? how periodic schiff reagent should be use for this procedure ?

You can use SDS-PAGE and perform periodic acid Schiff staining either on the gel or a subsequent Blot membrane.
