The chances of having a full HLA-matched sibling are around 25%. For the patients with aggressive hematological malignancies in developing countries, absence of HLA-matched sibling leaves limited options (haploidentical Vs matched unrelated donor). What are the chances that the parents may have full HLA-match? The regional differences are expected. Any practical experience?

Only if the child is a clone of one parent. That is, virtually never unless both parents have identical partial HL-A match which the child also inherits. Then the child's HL-A compliment may match one parent.
