Dear Parviz, our experience in arid soils of India (Aridisols), with the application of 40 ppm of nano-P and 10 ppm of nano-Zn on pearl millet and clusterbean by foliage application under rain fed harsh arid conditions , plant can survive 12-18 days more as compared to control. The above dose is very safe for the environment.
Dear Dr. Banu, the nano-particles are definitely ecofriendly with the recommended doses of application. For example, for nano-P on must use 40 ppm concentrated solution , for nano-N it is 80 ppm, for nano-Zn it is 10
It depends on the nanoparticle species, the dose of nanoparticle and environmental factors, such as the existence of humic acid. A large number of researches have reported the promotion of nanomaterials on plant growth. Our study also showed that sulfonated graphene oxide and graphene oxide could promote the growth of wheat and corn at relatively small dose.
