it depends on the load capacity and distance of the load.

Dear , you have not provided enough data to calculate current. However for 220 Volts , current can be calculated as

P=V I x p.f.

where P= load capacity, V= 220, and p.f. is the power factor. Normally we take power factor 0.8 - 0.9 for current calculations as per requirements.

so Current in Amps =  P/(220 * p.f.)  

That’s right, the current mainly depends on the load you connect, tap changes can evidently change the voltage which would change the current also, but the variation would be small, tap changers are used to regulate the voltage in a range no larger than 15%.
