Hi,

I'm seeking advice and possibly a collaborator with undertaking an IPA on some data I have gathered. I have used non-conventional question styles to gather data, and I want to check with an IPA expert whether I can run a IPA on these data. The grid plot comes out fine, but I want to check if i have transgressed any aspects of the theory behind the method.

For example. The Performance scale I used in my survey was Likert-style questions with a 5 point scale, but not from 1 to 5, it ran from Much Worse, Somewhat worse, neither worse nor better, Somewhat better, Much better. ie it runs from -2 to +2. Has anyone else done this? So my grid plot is similar to normal IPAs but includes negative values, where the performance on a particular aspect was worse than before the service began.

Might anyone experienced be interested in collaborating and advising on this chapter of my PhD please?

kind regards,

Emily.
