I have to prepare benzimidazole derivatives from o-phenylene diammine but the amount of catalyst and ethanol are not mentined anywhere. Any one please hep me out in suggesting that. For convienience, the referenced article is also attatced.

I had synthesized the derivatives using Di-amino compound and in place of acid we used different aldehyde.
I had synthesized the derivatives using Di-amino compound and in place of acid we used Aldehyde, Oxone ( Potassium Peroxomonosulfate) and DMF as solvent at 2 to 3 h rt with good yield.
