Can anyone help me out in suggesting the electrolyte composition for performing cyclic voltammetery of gel state electrolytes . As i know, it possess the analyte, supporting electrolyte and the solvent. So, what type of solvent can we use for the gel state study?
Frankly, there are too few constraints to give you a specific answer, since there is a vast amount of gel electrolyte (GE) "recipes" for various applications. Are there any constraints on the parameters of your GE system?
Often, the GE needs to be matched with the other components of your device.

Dear tomasz,
In actual, for gel based system, we use redox mediators which can be iodide/triodide or cobalt or copper etc. so my question is should we employ analyte of the composition for cyclic voltammetery which contain redox mediator and other constituents which we use for cell formulation also.
