Good journals? Some articles in Scopus based journal carry 12-16 words. The key should be to avoid unnecessarily wordings. Be short with it yet be informative.
Unless specified by the journal, the title should be not more than one crisp sentence conveying the jist of the finding, involving the key words of the article.
The title for an article is a function of the variables involved and the area of emphasis for the content and context thereof, to the extent of making meaning to the readership. However, too many articles within the article title may render the title invalid.
