In my Iraq also the maximum of only three researchers. As they are not equal in the degree of evaluation, the first researcher take full degree either the second researcher less and the third researcher less than the second researcher

It depends on the Journals. Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (for example) limits original manuscripts to 12 authors.

Group work is the main drive of scientific work that should be encouraged.

As far as I know, there is no limit to the number of researchers involved, but, logically, the finance of a specific research may be an obstacle concerning their number above a limit, in agreement with previous responses.

in ISI journal you can subscribe about 20 researcher. in fact it depends on that how many people helps you in your research.

There is no limit to the number of researchers in a specific work. I have recently downloaded an article in which the number of contributors is 15.

Depends on search requirements and size.

There is no limit to the number of researchers in a specific work but I think five is OK, and if there is an additional researcher/s, then he/they will not get any benefit from the research.

According to APA manual 6 are max. in the reference list but once I was obliged to

write in about 16 if I remember correctly.
