We are adapting our light distribution system to process a solution containing 7DHC with UV.
To design the light distribution system we need to know the number of photons UV 305nm or 310nm that are necessary to transform 7DHC into previtamin d3.
To size the equipment as a function of 7DHC concentration we need to know the kinetics of the transformation.

shows the wavelength dependent molar extinction coefficient of 7DHC (up to 12.0e-3) and the quantum yields (7DHC->preD3 = 0.26). Does that help?
