It is not about the number of moderators. it would be very difficult to report them and also for each single you may have theory to support it.

9 moderators is strange situation. Never read about such number of moderators. However, researcher assume that some variables could be moderators, but under testing they fail to meet the condition of moderation, thus, you drop them from the equation. I am attaching an article on how to test moderation, hope this will help
