Nitrite levels in rotifer culture tanks has been recorded, however after rotifers are harvested, they are put into a seperate enrichment tank (with new water) for ~18hrs. Does this effectively reduce the amount of nitrite within the rotifer so that it isn't passed on in lethal doses to fish larvae or is there an alternative/additional way to combat this problem?

I maybe out of date, but I never concern about the amount of nitrite within rotifers. If I do not enrich rotifer, I just wash them with freshwater then feed to fish larvae. Enrichment is to make rotifer more nourished without aiming to change the amount of nitrite in my practice.
how much was the Nitrite concentrate within Rotifers? do you had mortality for use it?
In what kind of water do you keep your fish? if it is freshwater then you have mortalities only because nitrite.Nitrite in freshwater have to be no more than 0.1 mg/l.
